CONVERSION OF A BARN COMPLEX

BEFORE

These derelict barns were completely transformed into eight beautiful office units and one live-in office unit over the course of two years.

As you can see, the barns were in a terrible state of disrepair and needed major restoration works across all the building trades.

AFTER

Several of the completed barn offices are complemented by stunning landscaping.

Careful consideration was given to the materials used for the restoration of the barns. Stones and tiles were salvaged and re-used where possible, and expertly mixed with reclaimed materials to keep the rustic aesthetic.

The stunning transformation of each of the barns was complemented by the beautiful landscaping.

Many original materials were salvaged and reused where possible, and any new or reclaimed materials were brought in and expertly crafted to blend in with the existing aesthetic.

The interior was also finished to the highest of standards using the best materials in the industry.

The huge windows created a striking feature in this large barn.

Rooflights and glazed frontages to the buildings create a spacious, airy feeling inside, and bring their design up to modern day standards.

Large double glazed panels replace where empty voids once were, providing outstanding views of the surrounding countryside.

Two types of roofing finishes were used to conserve the original look of this barn.

Our carpenters did an excellent job of neatly featherboarding the outside of this barn and fitting the bespoke windows.

The brick arches and stone elevations of the granary were repaired and re-pointed.
