These old barns were converted into stables, complete with offices, a tack room and a kitchen.

 

The exterior stone was repaired and repointed, with as much of the original material salvaged and reused where possible.  Feather boarding was added and the roof re-tiled to match the existing barns.

As well as the outside of the building being finished to the highest of standards, the interior was also beautifully finished.  The original beams were kept and repaired where required, windows fitted and a first floor put in.  Slate tiles and wooden floors completed the rustic aesthetic.
